Bishop Davis Freeman, who was running African Fellowship in Sydney, Australia; and was commissioned by Christian Life Centre, a Church in Sydney, Australia. The founder of Sydney CLC, Australia was Frank Houston, who was then the President of the network of Churches called Assemblies of God in Australia and New Zealand. He was the 8th General Superintendent. He was passionate about souls and worldwide missions. As such he had an able Director of Missions, Pastor Jonathan Wilson. An African mission commencing from Ghana was vision of the commission to Bishop Freeman.
